(PBOil OUR OWN CORRESPONDENTS.) GBEYMOTITH. April 29. Mr Frank Guinness has been elected to the seat in the Nelson Provincial Council, vacant by the resignation of Mr Wilkie. The polling took place on Saturday, with the following result : —Guinness, 83 ; Drury, 39. A boy named Thomas Alexander was drowned in the Saltwater Lagoon, on Thursday last.
