POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25 publishes the following regulations foi | banks as above newly established at Chn church, Eyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akrs Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westpc and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent.| annum is given on £2OO and under ; at) rate of 3 per cent, per annum on tu under £SOO ; and in the same proportion any shorter time on every complete £\ i posited, provided that no interest be albv on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors m the Post Office Savin Banks have direct Government Security the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post OB Banks can continue his deposits at any otl of such Banks, and can withdraw his moi at that Post Office Bank which is most o venient to him by giving notice of his nioval. 4. The strictest secresy is observed w respect to the names of depositors in P Office Banks, and the amounts of their i posits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on half of minors. Depositors over seven ye of age are treated as persons of full age,! minors under seven years of age cannot wi draw their deposits until they have read the age of seven. 7.
