NEW ZEALAND TELEGRAPH. rTI ENDERS are required for Felling X Timber and Clearing a Horse Track along the blazed survey line from the Bridge Site at the Arnold to the Bridge Site, Ahaura, on the proposed dray road. All timber to be felled close to the ground a width of one chain, and all overhanging trees on each side of the chain to be felled breast high throughout. The clearing to be eight feet in width, as nearly as possible, in the centre of the felling throughout. The whole to be completed within two months from date of acceptance of tender. Tenders, to be one price for the whole work at per chain. Tenders addressed "The Inspector of Telegraph, Christchurch," must bo lodged with the officer in c"harge of Telegraph at Westport, Greymouth, or Hokitika, on or before the 20th April inßt. All tenders must be accompanied with a deposit of .£2O, which sum will be forfeited by any tenderer refusing to take up the contract if called upon to do so ; also each tender must bo endorsed by an engagement signed by two persons of substantial credit undertaking to become security in the amount of £2OO for the due performance of the contract.
