POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25tt publishes the following regulations foi th banks as above newly established at Christ church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akrto Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westpor, and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent. p« annum is given on £2OO and under ; at th rate of 3 per cent, per annum on turn under £SOO ; and in the same proportion fo any shorter time on every complete £1 de posited, provided that no interest be allowe on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors in the Post Office Saving! Banks have duvet Government Security fo the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositv/r in any one of the Post Offic Banks can continue his deposits at any othe of such Banks, and can withdraw his mone at that Post Office Bank which is most cod venient to him by giving notice of his it moral. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wit respect to the names of depositors in Poi Office Banks, and the amounts of their de posits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on b< half of minors. Depositors over seven yeai of age are treated as persons of full age, bi minors under seven years of age cannot wit! draw their deposits until they have reache the age of seven. 7.
