RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT. (Before G. Giles, Esq., R.M.) ThUbsbay, March 14. Rohert Stewart complained against Annie Haddon for throwing stones at his and threatening to break their necks. Defendant denied the charge, and stated that the children were throwing stones at her ducks. The Magistrate said that from the evidence he could not believe defendant's statement, and bound her over to keep the peace for three months upon her own security of £2O. Forsyth and Masters obtained jurlgmenr against William Russell for the sum of £ls, with 8 per cent, interest upon a promissory note. Perau v. Seares. —Claim £2O 17s. This was a partnership account. Defendant admitted his liability for the sum of £6 19s. After hearing the evidence his Worship gave judgment for amount claimed with costs.
