POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand t/azecte, ot March 25th, publishes the following regulations foi the banks as above newly established at Ch' ist church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Thnaru, Afcrnnu Hokitika, Greyniouth, Waimate, Westport and Charleston: 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum is given on -£2OO and under ; al the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on rums under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £1 deposited, provided that no interest be albwid on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors in the Post Orifice Saving's Banks have dLvct Government Security fc'i the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor m any one of the Post Ofßce Banks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his money at that Post Office Bank which is most convenient to him by giving notice of his remo vol. 4. The strictest secresy is observed will; respect to the names of depositors in Post Office Banks, and the amounts of their deposits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on In. half of minors. Depositors over seven years, of age are treated as persons of full age, but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven; 7.
