The Hon. Mr Fox is likely to arrive at Westport to-morrow. He will visit the Coalfields, Inangahua and Charleston.
Mr O'Conor, M.H.E., will leave here for Westport by steamer Charles Edward to-day.
The Provincial Government have given a written reply to the memorial of miners presented by Messrs Crampton and O'Conor. Three leases are already granted at the lnaugahua. Remaining applications will be suspended for investigation.

The Luna, left for AVestport this morning with the Hon Mr Fox, Pre-
mier, on board.
