Tho difference in th" amount of customs alone represents £2G3 4s 7d, and every other item excepting gold duty has fallen off. It is satisfactory to find. however, that while in January, 1871, the golJ shipments were nil, we shipped during last month about 19S0 ounces of gold. Anehor Line of West Coast Packets.
