POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25tfi publishes the following regulations foi th banks as above newly established at Chrisi church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akrao Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westporl and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, pe annum is given on £2OO and under ; at th rate of 3 per cent, per annum on sum under £SOO ; and in the same proportion fo any siiortcr time on every complete £1 ds posited, provided that no interest bo allow! on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors ia the Post Office Saving! Batiks have duvet Government Security I the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Offic Banks can continue his deposits at any othc of such Banks, and can withdraw his inone at that Post Office Bank which is most con venient to him by giving notice of his « moval. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wit respect to the names of depositors in Bos Office Banks, and the amounts of their dt posits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on b< half of minors. Depositors over seven year of age are treated as persons of full age, bo minors under seven years of age cannot with draw their deposits until they have reachcthe age of seven. 7.
