Attention has been called to the fact that the late Walter Montgomery once played Romeo, in Victoria, Marie Sfc Denis as Juliet, and both committed suicide. A letter states that Mrs Montgomery is a very handsome woman, about twenty-seven years of age, and made her debut at the Gaieties theatre, under the auspices of her husband. For attempting to throw his wife and infaut child out of a window, a man in London was sentenced to ft month's imprisonment.
