J3i deed of composition made be. tween ALFRED JOSEPH BROWN, of Westport, storekeeper, of the first part, James Powell, of Westport, merchant, of the second part, and the whole body of the creditors of the said Alfred Joseph Brown of the third part, the said Alfred Joseph Brown covenanted with his said for the payment to them of a composition sum of Five Shillings in the Pound upon the amount of their respective debts, such composition to be secured by the promissory notes of the said Alfred Joseph Brown, endorsed by William Henry West, of Nelson, tobacconist, and payable as therein expressed. And notice is hereby further given that the said deed was duly executed on the Twenty-seventh day of October instant, in the presence of, and the same iB attested by, James Bickerton Fisher, of Westport, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, and was fiied in the District Court Office, at Westport, on the same day, where the same now lies for execution by all the creditors of the said Alfred Joseph Brown.
