The steamer Claud Hamilton reached the offing Hokitika, at nine p.m., on the 16th, after a passage of six days. She left Melbourne at 3 p.m., on the 9th, experienced fresh westerly winds first part of the passage, but later, fine weather. She brings twenty-one cabin and twenty-three steerage passengers, and 471 tons cargo for ail ports.
