The verdict was for the plaintiff for the amount and interest to date, being together £2,537 10s. Dunedin, August 11. The Scott Centenary celebration was successful. At the banquet it was resolved to found a Scott Scholarship in the University. Fifty-four guineas were subscribed in the room for that purpose. Cutten and M'Glashan are candidates for Roslyn. Timaru, August 11. The markets are unaltered, and nothing doing in bre^dstuffs. Napier August 11.
