POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK

The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th publishes the following regulations foi the banks as above newly established at Chriit church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timam, Akrac* Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent. p f j annum is given on £2OO and Under; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on tuioj under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on posited, provided that no interest be allowed on more than £SOO k 2. Depositors, in the Post Ottce Savinglj Banks have duvet Government Security fcj the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Office Banks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can Withdraw his money at that Post Office Ba,nk which is most con* venient to him by giving notice of his re» moval. 4.
