Tho Christehurch -" Press." of the 30th <ult., states that 'tho Isabella, brigantine, had cleared at the port of Lyttolton for Hokitika, on tho 29th ult, with the following cargo : U) tons flour, 7 tons bacon, 110 hags bran, 39 bags pollard, 200 bags oats, 20 kegs butter, 4 kegs skins, t ton biscuits, 100 bales chaff; and for Grey-mouth—3oo bags oats, 50 sacks -wheat. Tho s.s. Somersetshire 'has arrived at Melbourne, after a passage of fifty-five days, but lias been placed in quarantine owing to the presence on bo±rd of small-pox. A vessel recently arrived at Sydney from ■the South Seas, reports that a white woman ftias been seen on the beach at New Britain.
