(PEE GEEVILLE's TELEGBAM COMPANY, eeutee's agents). Chaeleston, Monday. A miner, named Thomas M'Grath, working at the Four Mile, met with a serious accident on Saturday. He was working a truck, and, in the act of tipping, was thrown from the tramway a depth of sixteen feet. M'Grath alighted on a stump seriously injuring his stomach. He was conveyed to the Charleston Hospital where he died at 1 a.m. to-day. An inquest will take place at noon. Nelson, May 29. The petition in the matter of the river channel has been received.
