SECOND DAT. A favorable change in the weather resulted in an excellent gathering to witness the second days' sporfc. The running of the previous day was not reversed, Patch winning the Buller Handicap with perfect ease. The Consolation Stakes was won by Supple Jack, and the Hack Race by Mr Bailie's Nimblefoofc. We subjoin the result of the day's : Bullek Handicap of 20 sovs. Two and a half miles. Entry, 2 sovs. Mr M'Qlashan's Patch, 8 yrs, 9st 41b (owner) ... ... ... 1 Mr Seaton's Supple Jack, aged, Bst 101b (Blythe) 2 Mr Bloomfield's Why-not (distanced) Consolation Stakes of 10 sovs. Ist prize, £7 10s ; second, £2 10s ; third horse to save his stake. For all horses beaten at the meeting. One and a-half miles. Post entry £l.
