Alexandra, April 16. It is currently repoted that Eewi and 70 men will shortly visit Mr M'Lean in Auckland. If they return in safety Tawhia will afterwards visit hitn. Dunedin, April 17. The s.s. Pretty Jane has arrived here, 143 days out from Glasgow, She made the passage under canvas. Wheat has been slightly easier during the past week, and, although I
there is no alteration in price, the upward tendency is checked. The supply is poor. Farmers are disinclined to sell, and millers to purchase beyond immediate requirements. Oats are in good demand at 2s 3d. Millers quote 2s 5d to 2s 6d for prime samples. Flour is in good demand at £l2 10s.
