POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazelle, of March 25th, publishes the following regulations foi the banks as above newly established at Clrist church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akraii* Ilokitika, Greymouth, Wahnate, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, pn annum is given on £2OO and under; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on nuns under .£SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £1 deposited, provided that no interest bs alLwd on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors in the Post O/ftee Sayiiipj! Banks have dl.vct Government Security f. r the prompt repayment of their money. •3. A depositor in any one of the PostOftce Banks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his money at that Post Office Bank which is most cent veuient to him by giving notice of his romoral. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wi n respect to the names of 'depositors in Post < >fliee Banks, and the amounts of their deposits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on lahalf of minors. Depositors over seven yean of age are treated as persuns of full age, hut minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven. 7.
