POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The A*ew Zealand Gazette, of March 25th, publishes the following regulations fot the banks as above newly established at Christ church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akraoa Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum is given on £2OO and under ; at the rate of 3 per cent, per annum on cuius under £SOO ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on every complete £1 deposited, provided that no interest be allowed on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors ca the Post Otnce Savingls Banks have duvet Government Security f< r the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Office Banks can continue his deposits at any other of such Banks, and can withdraw his money at that Post Office Bank which is most convenient to hiin by giving notice of his removal. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wiih respect to the names of dqxjsitors in Post Office Banks, and the amountssof their deposits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on behalf of minors. Depositors over seven years of age are treated as persons of full age, but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven. 7.
