POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th publishes the following regulations foi \\ banks as above newly established at Ch'iit church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akrgm Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, VVestpon and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent. p ( annum is given on £2OO and under; at th rate of 3 per cent, per annum on tu m under £SOO ; and in the same proportion fo any shorter time on every complete £1 & posited, provided that no interest be alLm, on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors ia the Post Office Saviiiot Banks have dixvet Government Security g the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A deposiU/r in any one of the Post Offic Banks can continue his deposits at any othe of such Banks, and can withdraw his mone> at that Post Office Bank which is most coo vement to him by giving notice of his » moval. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wii] respect to the names of depositors in Po B Office Banks, and the amounts of their dc posits. 6 Money may be deposited by or on b< half of minors. Depositors over seven yeac of age are treated as persons of full age h minors under seven years of age cannot with draw their deposits until they have reacha the age of seven. 7.
