POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25th publishes the following regulations fo» the banks as above newly established at Chin church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akrao« Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at the rate of 4 per cent. p f [ annum is,given on £2OO and under ; at thj rate of 3 per cent, per annum on sunn under £SOO ; and in the same proportion foj any shorter time on every complete £\ fa posited, provided that no interest be albwej on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors hi the Post Office Banks have duvet Government Security f (| the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor in any one of the Post Office Banks can continue his deposits at any othet of such Banks, and can withdraw his monej at that Post Office Bank which is most convenient to him by giving notice of his «. moval. 4. The strictest secresy is observed with respect to the names of depositors in Post Office Banks, and the amounts of their deposits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on bi. half of minors. Depositors over seven yean of age are treated as persons of full age, but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven. 7.
