LATE NATIVE NEWS. THE CALEDONIAN REEF. Napier, Feb. 23. A native named Eenata has been, by directions of Mr Ormond, seized at Wairoa. It is expected that sufficient evidence will be forthcoming to convict him of murdering Mrs Biggs and child at the Poverty Bay massacre. The nomination for five seats in the Provincial Council came off to-day. Ten persons were nominated, and a poll demanded. News from Taupo is more definite. Eewi is urging Todd's murderers to be given up. Auckland, Via Thames, Feb. 21.
