RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT. Wednesday, Eeboaby 22. (Before J. Giles, Esq., E.M.) Carr v. Sweeny.—No appearance. Dowd v. Macarthy.—This case was adjourned from Westportto Charleston for hearing. The plaintiff sued defendant for £7 16s alleged to be duo as wages. Defendant paid .£1 16s into Court. Judgment for six shillings additional and costs. WARDEN'S COURT. Hellison v. "Walker (Manager Progressive Water Eace). Adjourned to allow plaintiff to produce registration certificate. Payne snd party v. Bloomfield and party. Mr Gillespie appeared as agent for defendants. Plaintiffs stated that defendants interfered with them and prevented them from working their claim. Erom the evidence of Charles Payne, one of the plaintiffs, the Warden decided in favor of the defendants. Twenty-one applications for races, dams, extended claims, &c, were heard and disposed of.
