The market is well supplied at present with staple commodities. O.sts are quoted at 4? to 4s Gd per bushel. Chaff, very plentiful at JS9 to .£lO per ton. Flour (in solbs scarce) at .£ls per ton. The up-river trade has .materially increased daring the past month Supplies of live Btock have been quitß equal to the demand, bnt there is supposed to be less certainty for some time of the sup| ly being kept up with the same regularity. At the last sale, hold on the 30th nit., sheep realised an average of '24s 6d and lambs 15s. The nest cattle sale will probably take place on the 9lh inst., of which the usual notice ■will be given.
