The Aew Zealand Gazette, of March 25tM publishes the following regulation's foi tfll banks as above newly established at Chris* church, JiVttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akraol Hokitika,'Greymouth, Wainiate, WestporJ and Charleston, IT Interest at he rate of 4~per cerit. pj .annum ;is given on £2OO and-under; at tjU rate; ofi 3 per cent, per annum on *una under £SOO ; and in the same proportion fqj any shorter time on every complete £1 dS posited, provided that no intere* illow<2 on msre than £SOO. ,i 2.t Depositors ia.thi Post Office Saving,! Banks have duvet Government Security foj the prompt repayment of their money. 3. A depositor la any one of the Post Offi'cj Banks can continue his deposits at any othej ,pf such Banks, and can withdraw his monej at that Post Office Bank which is most coal venient to him. 4. The strictest secresy is observed wits respect to the names of depositors in Pod Office Banks, and the amounts of their da] possits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on bol half of minors.
