We -'learn •'■with much pleasure that the .tftehjuer VVallabi is once more afloat, and that she has not sustained the slightest injury from stranding on the north beach, Greymouth. She was to leave that port yesterday evening, and will arrive here this'morning, sailing the same tide for Wanganui.
The- p.s. Charles Edward sailed from Nel--son on Saturday, at 6.45. p.m., and arrived at Westport the following evening. She sailed yesterday at 6 p.m. for Greymouth and Hokiitika, and will return to Westport on Thurs'flny morning, leaving the same evening for iieiHun.
The s.s. Murray left'Westport for Nelson on Saturday, at 7 p.m., and arrived at her destination on Sunday at 1.45 p.m. The Kennedy, atao bound for Nelson, sailed a few minutes later, arriving at the latter port at 2.30 p.m. Both steamers conveyed a number of passengers, who have to be in attendance at the current sitting of the Supreme Court at Nelson.
'Che schooner Aspa9ia, Capt. Johnston, left Lyttelton on Nov. 3, with a fine southerly wind until off Cape Campbell, -when she experienced strong north-west gales for a week. Put into Port Underwood for shelter, where she remained two days, and earno out with j&he.'lnst'Of a -north-west wind, and then met with a-light southerly wind, which carried her as far as Steven's Island. North-west weather with strong winds set in agiiin, lasting three days, and put into Port Hardy for shelter, where she remained two days. Sailed with a light wind from the north-west, which changed to thick and dirty weather ; on the second day rounded Cape Farewell, with a light northerly wind till reaching Wanganui Inlet, and then had to put back, in consequence of the heavy sea and gale on Thursday last, to Cape Farewell. Sailed again on Thursday night with a light wind from the south-east, which changed into a steady wind from the north-east with fine clear weather. Anchored off the port on Saturday at 10 a.m., and crossed the bar at 5 pan. '1 he Aspasia brings a full cargo of produce, consigned to Messrs Bailie and Humphrey, which is being' landed in perfect order. The schooner Mavis, Captain Palmer, left Lyttelton at midnight on Njv. 3, with a light south west breeze, which shortly afterwards changed to strong north-westerly weather. Put into Port Underwood, where she remained weather-bound seven days, and left, lin company with the Pearl, bound for Hokitika, on Nov. 14. After sailin?, experienced a strong south-east wind, with a heavy southwesterly sea, until reaching Rocks' Point, •where she fell in with the Wild Wave, bound for Grnymouth, the W. S. Munday, for ■Charleston, and the Blackwall, from Greymouth to Lyttelton. Anchored off the port on Sunday morning, and crossed the bar at 8 a.m. The Mavis brings a full cargo of produce, consigned to Mr John Munro. The Grace Gibson, from Liverpool, arrived at Port Chalmers the Bth instant, after a passage of ninety-eight days. The May Queen, from. London, arrived on the same day, after a passage of seventy-nine d<vys.
