DISASTROUS ELOODS IN VICTORIA. TWELVE LIVES LOST. (PEOM OTXB OWK COBBESPONDESTT.)

The steamer Tararua arrived at the Bluff from Melbourne on Saturday night. The weather has been so bad in Victoria that it is supposed it will be neceasaiy to further adjourn the races for another week.
A thousand pounds to thirty has been offered against Manuka, the New Zaaland horse, and not accepted. The jury on Supple'a second trial were unable to agree as to a verdict' and had to be discharged. Terrific rains and disastrous floodo have occurred in Victoria. At Ballarat the flcod was higher than it was ever before known. Two lives were lost in the floods at Ballarat, and ten have been drowned at Coleraine, near G-eelong, which town is altogether under water.
A collision took place at Sydney between the steamers Avoca and Waimea, while entering the harbor. The Waimea sank, but the crew was saved.
A French war steamer, which has arrived at Sydney, reports that all Germans have been ordered to leave New Caledonia.
