Customs' duties 2200 14 5 Lighthouse dues ... ... 8 4 5 Fees under Merchant Shipping Act 0 13 0 Arms and ammunition licenses 8 16 0 Wino License 2 0 0 Gold duty 437 4 8 £2657 12 6 Tho total receipts for the month ended September 30 were £2605 lls I Id, showing a small increase for tho past month. As anticipated, the gold export duty for the past month shows a falling off as compared with September, the figures being JE437 4s Bd, as against £7BO 7s 7d ; the dry weather experienced in September having very injuriously affectod the gold returns of the past month.
