The s.s. Kennedy left Nelson on Tuesday at noon, and arrived at Westport yesterday at 11 a.m. Owing to the heavy rain she did not discharge cargo yesterday. The p.s. Lyttelton left Wanganui at midnight ou Sunday, ami arrived at Westport on Tuesday night. Discharged her freight of cattlo and sheep at the South. Spit, and moored alongside the wharf at noon yesterday. She was to leave for Greymouth early this morning.
A telegram to hand yesterday announces the safe arrival of tho schooner Standard, at Brighton on Tuesday. She left Westport on Monday.
The Nightingale sailed from Melbourne foi Wellington, via Dunedin, on September 12 taking 2000 cases of kerosene and 500 o: geneva for the latter port.
