Tlie JVew Zealand Gazette, of March 25th publishes the following regulations foi th( banks as above newly established at Christ church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akran< Hokitika. Grey mouth, Waimate, Westport and Charleston. 1. Interest at he rate of 4 per cent, pel annum is given on £2OO and under ; at th( rate of 3 per cent, per annum on tumi under £SOO ; and in the same proportion foi any shorter time on every complete £1 de> posited, provided that no in teres 4 ilowtc on more than £SOO. 2. A depositor In any one of the Post Ofßcl Banks can continue his deposits at any othel of such Banks, and can withdraw his monew at that Post Office Bank which i s most colli venient to him. I 4 - The strictest secresy is observed wit! respect to the names of depositors in Posl < )ffice Banks, and the amounts of their de possits. 6. Money may be deposited by or on be half of minors. Depositors over seven yean of age are treated as persons of full age, bul minors under seven years of age cannot with' draw their deposits until they have reachec the age of seven. 7.
