At the United States Consulate, Hioge, Japan, on the 23rd June, by the Rev. D. H. Greene, Charles James Hoyt, of Yokohama, Japan, to Mary Ann, only daughter of Mr C. M. Ware, late of Dunedin, N.Z. At the house of Mr Blackie, Castle street, Dunedin, on the 16th September, by the Rev. D. M. Stuart, James Baird, late of Westport, fourth son of the late William Baird, of Maddiston, Stirlingshire, Scotland, to Isabella Blackie, only daughter of David Blackie, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. At the residence of George Dodson, Esq., Port Chalmers, on the 17tn September, by the Rev. D. Moreau, William Henry Ilaydon, of Dunedin, to Kate Josephine, fifth daughter of the late Lawrence M'Grath, Esq., Waterford, Ireland.
