COMMERCIAL.
Mr John Munro sold on Tuesday, ex Charles Edward from Wanganui, on account of Mr John Seaton, 17 head of cattle, medium quality, at an average of ,£ls per head ; 150 sheep averaging 32s ; also a few calves. The balance of her cargo consisting of horses, pigs, and produce were 6eut forward to Hokitika by the steamer Lyttelton. The market being bare of sheep and cattle accounts for the high prices realised, and the last pen of Bheep offered fitched 38s 6d, and cattle £l6 2s Gd.
