Mr John Munro fold by auction, on Saturday last, ex Charles Edward, on account of Messrs Dick and Seaton, 41 head of cattle, 150 sheep, and 20 lambs, and reports f hat the following aro tho actual prices obtained :
Timabu.—The Herald of the 31st August reports:—
We hare at present three vessels in the roadstead discharging coal from Newcastle, the Escort, Adeline Uurkc, and Ottawa, and the price is bow .£3 per ton. Grain is not coming forward for shipment very freely on accouni of the bad roads, but we believe the Adeline Burke and Escort will both get away this week with full cargoes for Melbourne. The steamer Maori took a small parcel of grain for the Dunedin market yesterday. There is, however, a fair quantity offering, the price ranging for wheat from 3s to 3s 6d according to sample. Yesterday a parcel of 4000 bushels, from the Orari, was sold at the latter figure.
