Per Charles Edward, from Wmginul—6o bugs chaff, 8u do bran, 48 head cattle, 150 sheep, 20 pigs, 2 calves, Freeth and Greig. EXPORTS. Per 10, for Melbourne —1 case vestas, Stitt Eros.; 120 hides, 14 bales flax, Bailie and Humphrey. Per Charles Edward, sho'-t landed at Westport—so sheep, 20 pigs, 25 head cattle, Freeth and Greig. The following articles, consigned to Mr Jules Simon, were wrongly described in the customs manifest, and consequently in our lost issue, as forming portion of shipments to other Westport traders : —5 chests candles, 15 boxes soap, 6 do maizena, 1 case axe handles, 1 do herring, 1 do pickles, 2 do chocolate, 1 do cocoa, I do jar salt, 1 do bottled fruit, 6 do sardines, 5 do vinegar, 1 keg peas, 2 casks soda crystals, 10 bags salt, 10 rice. The p.s. Charles Edward left Wangauui on the 30th ult., and arrived at Westport about mid-day on Thursday with a full cargo of stock for Messrs Freeth and Greig. She landed the major portion of her freight and proceeded with the balance to Greymouth yesterday at 2.30 p.m. The schooner Io sailed for Melbourne yesterday, at 2.30 p.m., in tow of the Charles Edward, having met with very quick despatch in discharging cargo, and taking in ballast and cargo for Melbourne. Her stay in port was limited to four days and.a few hours. The schooner Three Friends, which was »reported as having sailed ou Wednesday last for Charleston, crossed the bar, but, finding too heavy a sea running to make the Charleston entrance, anchored in the roadstead for the night, and the following morning, the weather showing no improvement, recrossed the bar. She is now lying alongside Stanley Wharf awaiting a favorable opportunity to proceed to Charleston. The schooner Crest of the Wave, Captain Bell, from Dunedin, completed discharging on Thursday, took in ballast, yesterday, and will probably Sail to-day for l'olorus. The schooner Pearl is lying in the lagoon undergoing some trifling repairs to her rudder. These will be completed quickly, and she will leave for Pelorus at an early date. We understand that it is the intention of the owners of the cutter Satellite to lay on that, craft for tho Fijis in a few weeks. Capt. Macdonahl, the master, has paid a visit to these islands once. There have been several enquiries of late from intending passengers, and the Satellite will most likely bo announced to leave during this month. The steamer Storm Bird is expected to reach here next week from Wellington, with a cargo of cattle. She will then be laid on for Kelson, Wellington, and Wangauui. A steamer named the Golden Crown, the l.irgest yet built in New Zealand, has been launched by Messrs Duthie and Ross, Auckland. She is intended for the Thames trade. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. ARRIVALS.
