A special San Francisco telegram, dated July 10, says the corn crops in Arkansas and Mississippi have been much injured by a tornado. There is very little raovement in breadstuffs to Australia. Prices in San Francisco permit no exports; only threo vessels have cleared for Australia in six months. The following with reference to the supply of breadstuffs in Tasmania, is from the Hobart Town Advertiser of July 26: —" In the present state of the wheat market the following statement of the estimated supply of breadstuffs for tho current year, compiled by the Government Statistician, and published in to-day's Government Gazette, will probably provo interesting. Tho wheat and flom* on hand on Ist April, 18G9*, estimated equal to wheat, was 253,117 bushels, the balance of exports from Ist April, 1869, to 31st March, 1870, was 214,748 bushels, making the estimated stock on hand on Ist April, 1870, to be 38,369 bushels. Tho produce of the wheat crop for the past season, as shown by the agricultural returns,, which have been completed and revised, was 1,004,579 bushels, giving a total supply of 1,042,948. Tho quantity required for seed, say 63,000 acres at two bushels per acre, is 126,000 bushels, and the estimated consumption for mean population of 100,000, at six bushels per head, is 600,000 bushels, giving the total quantity required for seed and consumption at 726,000 bushels, and consequently a surplus supply for exportation, of 316, 948 bushels. If theso estimates should prove correct, there is little prospect oi prices advancing beyond present quotations."
