POST OFFICE SAVINGS' BANK The New Zealand Gazette, of March 25 1 publishes the following regulations foi i banks as above newly established at Chrj church, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, Akra Hokitika, Greymouth, Waimate, Westpo and Charleston. 1. Interest at he rate of 4 per cent, r annum is given on £2OO and under ; at t rate of 3 per cent, per annum on sui under £SOO ; and in the same proportion i any shorter time on every complete £1 c posited, provided that no interest be allow, on more than £SOO. 2. Depositors in the Post Office Saving Banks have direct Government Security fi the prompt repayment of their money. ■■i.
