POSTAL NOTICE.

The English mail will leave Nelson on the Ist May. MAILS CLOSE Per overland mails at the Post Office, Westport, as follows : For Charleston, daily, two hours after high water. —Weekly time table is posted at the office window. For Brighton, on Monday and Thursday—same time as for Charleston. For Addison's Flat, on Monday and Thursday, at 7 a.m. For Eochfort, on Tuesday and Saturday, at 7 a.m. EOR WESTPORT, The Mails will Close— At Charleston, daily, two hours after high water. At Brighton, on Tuesday and Friday, at 2 p.m. At Addison's Flat, on Monday and Th urs day, at 2 p.m. At Eochfort, on Monday and Wednesday, 3 p.m. LATE LETTERS. Late letters will be received at the Post Office alter the time of closing the Mail until within twenty minutes of the hour of despatch, provided that such letters bear each in postage stamps an additional single rate, viz. : For places within the Province, 2d in addition to the postage. For other Provinces, 3d in addition to the postage. For places beyond the Colony, 6d in addition to the postage. In case any late letters arc posted without the proper late fee, it will be detained until the next despatch. Letters posted on board of vessels are liable to the late fee as late letter. Should such late fee or postage, or any portion be unpaid, they will be taxed with the late fee, and double any deficient postage. THOS. F. WINSTANLEY, Postmaster.
