THE MINING LEAGUE COMMITTEE.
(To the Editor of the Westport Times.) Sir, —I see in your isaue of Saturday a correspondent asserting that the Miners' League Committee had resolved to hold a ball in "Westport to raise funds for the defraying of expenses which they may incur. Ido not wish to express my opinion on the advisability of such a course, but such a question has never yet been raised at any meeting of Committee. Fergus Barkowman-, Hon. Secretary to the Miners' League Committee.
