The following telegram from the Hon. Mr Fox to the Hon. Mr Gisborne was lately received:—" I have just returned to Wanganui. My meetings with the Upper Wanganui natives were the most satisfactory I was ever present at in any part of New Zealand. The practical point is that Topia has pleged himself to find Te Kooti, and to capture him dead or alive.
