THE CHARGE OF BIG-AMY. (BYELECTRIC! TELEGRAPH.) (from OUR OIVN" COTtRESPOXDEXT.) Nelson-, Saturday. The charge of bigamy against Braithwaite broke down. There was not sufficient evidence to prove the identity of Mrs M'lunes, the first wife's mother. She was not able to bo removed from Christchureh, but, had her identity been proved, her depositions would have been taken as evidence. _As it was, toe jury, by the Judge's direction, returned a verdict of ]N T ot Guilty, aud the prisoner was discharged.
