TIIWH WATER. This Day ... 11.15 a.m., 11.40 p.m. To-morrow 12.0 a.m., 12.23 p.m. ARRIVALS. Nov. s—Mavis, schooner, from Charleston, for repairs. The schooner Jane Elkin was misreported as having arrived here from Havelock with timber for Messrs Bull and Bond. She is the first vessel that has brought a cargo of sawn I imber from Hokitika, and it is probable that this is only the beginning of a regular trade. The ! barque Sarah and Maria arrived at Nelson from San Fransisco on the 27th ult., with a cargo of wheat for Messrs Rod and Hounsell. The cargo and coals of the s.s. Taranaki realised £IOSO. The cargo was in much worse condition than was expected. We notice that the cutter Hope, Captain "White, has arrived -safely at the Thames, from Westport, via Coromandol, with a small cargo of sundries. A new wharf has been opened at Campbelltown, Wanganui. The s.s. Beautiful Star loaded her cattle there.
