Of Nelson movements in the matter of the Superintendency, the only recent item of information is the following, which appears in the Mail of Monday : —A rumor is afloat in town to the effect that a requisition has been forwarded to Mr Arthur Collins inviting him to come forward as a candidate at the approching election for the Superintendency. We are, however, authorised, to state that Mr Collins has not the slightest intention of opposing Mr Curtis. The only ever-lasting people on earth are the shoemakers.
