CHARLESTON.

Sept. 3. The only arrival during the past week lias been the ketch Constant, which came into harbor on Tuesday last, bringing a general cargo from Westport The schooner Mar;- Jane has had a temporary rudder fixed for tne purpose of taking her round to Westport, at which place it is purposed to give her a good overhaul prior to placing her in the coasting trade. The high tides of yesterday and this morning have enabled her owners to get her well down the beach, and I believe that this evening's tide will see her once more afloat. The Constant is expected to sail for Westport this evening, and the Mary Jane as soon as the wind and sea go down.
