A Rich Drunk.—Some amusement was caused in Lydiard-strect on Monday night, saya the " Ballarat Star,' " by a loud voice from the watchhonse calling out for an imaginary waiter to bring in some boots, varied by an accasional request for a little whisky and water. The owner of the voice turned out to be a Scotchman, *■" had been arrested for being very drunk and very disorderly hi the streets. "When searched at the watcnhouse he had a bank deposit receipt for £1,287, and £l3 in cash, on hu person."
