Nelson.—The Colonist of the 2nd instant reports:—There is nothing fresh to notice iu the state of trade, which is still very inactive, with money scarce, and without prospects of immediate improvement. Sugars have fallen about £\' per ton, for superior kinds, and candles have been slightly reduced in the wholesale price.
