Domestic Economy.—A gentleman in America having found it necessary to reduce his domestic expenditure, kissed one of the servant maids one morning when he knew his wife would see him. Eesults: the girl discharged, and a saving effected of ten dollars a month. All husbands who wish to economise may try the same plan. Argentiferous copper ore ia said to have been discovered on the river Penguin, on the north-west coast of Tasmania. Steps are to be taken to test the value of the discovery.
