To the non-arrival of the coasting steamers, and the stormy weather on the coast, this is principally to bo attributed. Stocks of flour are now very light ; Adelaide is firm at A'l9 ; inter-provincial may br quoted generally at £l6. Oats are now worth 4s Gd. Bran £lO. We have nothing new to note in oilmen's stores ; prices are well maintained. We quote Tainsh's jams at 10s Cd ; L. and P. sauce, 15s Gd ; half-pint salad oil. 10s Gd ; do. castor oil, 10s; bottled fruits, 17s ; marmalade, lis; cocoa, Is Sd to Is 9d ; chocolate, Is 7d ; condensed milk, lGs. Teas are plentiful and dull of sale. Sugars are still scarce; Company's 2nd white we quote at GOs ; good brown crystals, 525. In wines and spirits little business is doing, but prices remain firm. We quote Hennessy's brandy »t9sGd; Otard's, Ss 3d; C.V.P. Ss. Hennessy's case is scarce, and fetching 5Ss, D.P.
