Fhoji the tenor of our Wellington telegram of last eveniug it is plain that, with the Fox Ministry in office, and with the majority which they will probably have in the House, the question of Separation of the Nelson Southwest Goldfields will be settled in a manner different from the wishes or the hopes of those who have advocated and labored for it. According to the telegram, Provincial institutions, where self-supporting, will be left alone. As Nelson comes within that category, " self-supported " by her Goldfields, she will no doubt be left alone, and so will tho Goldfields be left alone—out in the cold.
