Eight Children at a Birth.—On the 2nd August, last year, Mrs Timothy Bradlec, of Turnbull County, Ohio, gave birth to eight children—three boys and five girls. They are all living, and all healthy, but are quite small. Mrs Bradlee was a twin of three, her father and mother being both twins. The New CniGSou. —There is to be an immediate change in the style of chignons. They are to be worn still higher, and more on the top of the head. A length of twenty-seven inches of false plaited hair will be required for an orthodox one, to swell the proportions of the false material. In all the fashionable ladies, hair-dressing houses at home, the assistants are now getting up plaits, and practising on wax dummies the are of arranging them.
